YT Playlist Sorter ("the App") is developed by Ömer Yasir Bağmancı (OYas Prime). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, why it is used, and how users can control their data.

Independent App

YT Playlist Sorter is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to YouTube, YouTube Music, Google LLC, Apple Inc., or any of their subsidiaries.

Information We Use

The App may use the following information depending on user actions:

Google / YouTube Account Authorization

When the user connects YouTube Music, the App requests Google/YouTube OAuth permissions required to read and update supported playlist data through YouTube Data API.

The App may access:

  • YouTube playlist list
  • Playlist item IDs
  • Song/video titles and metadata returned by YouTube Data API
  • Playlist ordering information needed to save user-requested changes

The App does not ask for unnecessary Google account information beyond what is needed for playlist features.

Sign in with Apple

On iOS, users may choose Sign in with Apple as a privacy-focused app account option. Apple may provide a user identifier, name, and email address depending on the user's choice. Users may also use Apple's private relay email feature.

Apple sign-in does not provide access to YouTube Music playlists. Users must separately connect YouTube Music to use playlist features.

Advertising

Free users may unlock playlist editing sessions by watching rewarded ads. The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google AdMob may process device, ad interaction, and diagnostic information according to Google's own policies.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are handled by Google Play Billing and Apple StoreKit. The App may store local subscription status for app functionality. Future server-side purchase verification may be added to improve reliability and fraud prevention.

How We Use Information

Information is used to:

  • Let users connect their YouTube Music account
  • Display playlists and songs inside the App
  • Sort and reorder playlists locally
  • Save user-requested changes back to supported YouTube playlists
  • Provide ad-based free access
  • Provide premium subscription access
  • Improve app stability and user experience

Data Storage

The App may store limited data locally on the user's device, such as:

  • Language preference
  • Local premium cache
  • Temporary ad unlock session state
  • Sign in with Apple local identifier, if used

The App is designed so ad unlock rights are session-based unless otherwise stated. Closing the App may reset temporary free unlock state.

Data Sharing

The App does not sell user data.

Data may be processed by third-party services that are necessary for app functionality:

  • Google / YouTube Data API
  • Google Sign-In
  • Google AdMob
  • Google Play Billing
  • Apple Sign in with Apple
  • Apple StoreKit

Each service is governed by its own terms and privacy policies.

User Control

Users can:

  • Sign out from the App
  • Revoke Google/YouTube access from their Google Account permissions page
  • Stop using Sign in with Apple from Apple ID settings
  • Delete the App to remove locally stored app data
  • Request account/data deletion instructions through the support email

Children

The App is not designed for children and should not be directed to users under the minimum age required by applicable platform rules and local laws.
